TRAINING AND PLACEMENT

We provide quality training to the candidates so that the candidates feel strong enough to face the
interview for the industry and have confidence. Students will be placed for their industry exposure to
different hotels as well as there are enough scope of doing casual training at different hotels in different
times. After the completion of the course students will be sent to different hotels for final placement.

The library serves as the backbone of the institute to all academic activities of VIMT. It forms a very
important arm and shares its commitment to excellence of the institute and dedicated to offer rapid response
with high flexibility to meet the growing need of the students and faculty community.

Computer centre equipped with internet connectivity constitutes an integral part of VIMT. It has a network
latest machine adequately matched and supported by a host of printers, modems and other peripherals.
The campus helps the students to access high speed internet round the clock. VIMT also has a sophisticated
web based internet system that offers continuous interaction between the faculty and the students.

Hostel facilities will be provided if required to all the candidates those are from far. Boys and girls will
be provided separate hostel facilities.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

For complete development of the students and to ensure each of the VIMTies suit very well in the
corporate
environment. The management of the institute encourage our students to participate regularly in extra
curricular activities that includes indoor and outdoor sports, cultural programmes, educational tour,
picnic, yoga etc.



Faculty And Training Methodology

We bring our students up to date by inviting a large number of distinguished practitioners from the
industry and arrange seminars and brain storming sessions.

Lectures are supported by audio visual aids along with seminars, presentations and case studies.

Accommodation

VIMT provide comfortable and well furnished hostel accommodation both for male and female students
separately. Facilities for recreation are also available besides the reading room facility.

The boarders of the hostel are required to maintain the following core rules for the smooth
functioning:

  1. Allotment of the rooms is on the basis of first come first serve.
  2. All the hostilities are required to report back to their respective rooms latest by 8 p.m. Any
    late comers to the hostel during night will not be allowed to enter and strict discipline will be
    taken the following day.
  3. All boarders are expected to maintain cleanliness within the premises.
  4. Consumption of alcohol/intoxicants/smoking is strictly prohibited inside the premises.
  5. Hostel fees must be paid in advance by 3rd day of each month.
  6. VIMT is not responsible for any kind of theft or misplacement of articles.

Special Grooming Sessions For Job Interviews

Permanent faculties of the institute takes special sessions on personality development and grooming of
the students. Training and placements cell organise mock interviews, finishing school programme and
group discussions to develop the confidence of the students.
